    ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), which will be India’s flagship energy major and also a’Maharatna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in Exploration and Production of Oil & Gas in India and abroad, being a measure of Skill Building initiative to the Nation, proposes to activate apprentices at its location across 2-2 labour centers. Applications are encouraged from candidates from the following trades fulfilling the qualifications cited below for participation as Apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time) from the trade/disciplines mentioned below:

    The applicant should have developed minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General & OBC applicants and 40% marks in aggregate in the event of SC/ST/PWD applicants against booked places.
    Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years according to 28.03.2019. Age relaxation is just 3 years to get OBC-NCL and 5 years SC/ST.
    I. The apprentices are eligible for monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended in to time.
    II. The trainee isn’t qualified to receive almost any TA-DA/Boarding or Lodging expenses incurred throughout the duration of training. ONGC won’t supply any financial assistance towards shipping.
    Selection Process: Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the basis of marks obtained in the stated qualification and Merit drawn thereon. In case of a similar number in merit, a person with higher age would be considered.

    Requirement before filling online application form: 

    1. Before applying for above apprentices positions, candidates have to first register themselves in online portals of the following agencies of Govt. of India:
    (a) For Trade – Accountant and Assistant Human Resources (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 1 & 2):With National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at
    (b) For other Trade Apprentices (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 3-17): With Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) at
    (c) For Technician Apprentices: With the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in their portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under Ministry of Human Resource Development. The link!registermenunew.action (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 18 & 22)
    2. It may be noted that in case candidate does not pre-register themselves online with concerned RDAT/BOAT/ NSDC and subsequently after selection as apprentice in ONGC, their registration of contract as apprentice does not happen with BOAT/ NSDC/RDAT due to any reason, the candidate himself/herself shall be responsible for the same and shall not be considered for engaging as apprentice. In such case, candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled and offer shall be issued to next candidate from the panel.

    How to apply: Candidates meeting the above prescribed eligibility criteria should visit our ONGC website and apply Online from 14.03.2019 till 28.03.2019 by 17:00 hours.

    There are two steps for Registration process. Part-I & Part-II. In Part-I registration, candidate has to register with the Government portal as mentioned in above. Candidates are advised to remember registration number for future reference/use.

    In Part-II registration, candidate has to register in website, furnish details such as date of birth, registration No, Category, educational qualification, etc. and submit.
